Wheel & Axle Installation Guide
Follow these steps to ensure a straight, secure fit for your new wheels.
1. Test Fit
Before applying any adhesive, test fit the axle into the back of the wheel and the car chassis. This ensures everything aligns correctly and spins freely.
2. Glue the First Wheel
- Place a single drop of super glue onto one end of the axle.
- Insert the glued end into the mounting hole on the back of the wheel.
- Important: Hold the axle perfectly straight for 60 seconds while the glue cures to avoid a "wobbly" wheel.
3. Install & Trim
- Slide the dry end of the axle through the car’s chassis.
- Using wire cutters, trim the axle to the desired length, leaving just enough room for the second wheel to sit flush against the car without binding.
4. Secure the Final Wheel
- Apply a drop of super glue to the newly trimmed end of the axle.
- Attach the second wheel and hold it straight for another 60 seconds until set.
Pro Tip: Be careful not to let glue seep into the car's axle housing, or the wheels won't rotate!
